The Importance of HTTPS and a Common Error
A post on July 24, 2018 from the Google Blog told us that Chrome would now mark non-HTTPS sites as “Not Secure”, and notify your visitors with a nice, red “Not Secure” icon in the address bar.
How embarrassing! But, why do you care?
In your goal to provide a professional impression to potential clients, having an HTTPS certificate is a subtle but effective indication that you are trustworthy company.

You know about the importance of HTTPS, and you’ve contacted your hosting provider and got your brand new SSL certificate.
Somehow, you still get an error telling you that “Your connection to this site is not fully secure”, even with your HTTPS connection.
Taking a look at the Developer Console in the Chrome Browser, we can see that some resources that were loaded come from different domains. This is common when you are using themes for WordPress, or using content from another source on the internet.
Your options are to either remove the content if you don’t need it, or if it is content you have permission to use, then you can upload it to your sites /images directory, and all requests made for that resource will come from your HTTPS domain.
